After last winter, my rear wiper motor went mental and started operating by itself. After a couple of days it stopped and never worked again.

I finally got round to buying another, used motor off eBay and set about removing my trim and and old motor. I was shocked to see what I saw!

The wiring and plug has also melted and disintergrated. The fuse never blew though which is rather worrying.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement plug and short bit or wire? There are no B6's in the local scrap yards.

Only problem I have now is my replacement motor ends in A and mine ends in B so my washer jet doesn't fit the end properly. Going off vagcat my motor should be A. This has confused me a bit.

You pull it have a b5 a4 avant in full sutton

They don't keep cars in there long it was there the other day should be still there

Didn't get chance. Some family turned up unexpectedly so scuppered my chances. Got dragged to the pub again. Of course, I was kicking and fighting all the way there :-0

Wow, having a similar issue as my rear wiper motor on my a3 has stopped working. Reading your post makes me feel like I should just blank it and not get a replacement motor.
