What have you done to your A4 b6 today?

I had fitted 4 x Uniroyal Rainsport 3's and had my back boxes chopped and replaced with straight through pipes. A little costly morning, all in all.

And today my leather arm rest lid turned up all the way from china!!
Pretty impressed with a perfect fit!

Side by side with the old one.

And the new one fitted

Have you got a link to the lid?

Just ordered 4 tins of mat black plasti-dip to winter proof my wheels as I don't have any winter wheels. I'll get some pictures up once it's done.

Nice! Always wanted an arm rest but used ones never seem to have my colour lids so I'm tempted by this myself.

Cheers for that it will come in handy if I come across a cloth one for sale at a reasonable price.

i made a one touch system for my roof, works well. and cheap too

Is it real leather or PU leather mate?

Tbh I'm not sure but at that price I would say not real.
It's good quality well built. The leather is more matte finish where as the leather on my seats has a shine to it. But then again my car is 13 years old so there's bound to be a difference

Have a sniff:D
but like you say cheap enough:thumbs up:

Haha although I haven't 'sniffed' it your quite right. It doesn't have that leather smell!

So it's safe to say it's not real. The only test of time will tell how good it is. Il see in a year or so if it's all split or not

I drove on it about a quarter mile. It still had some air in it but on removing the tyre there is slight scoring on the sidewall from the rim rolling on it, so not quite enough. It's visible only inside the tyre, and there was a small amount of rubber debris rolling around inside (not much at all). Looked very superficial to me. The guy repaired it but on a cash ticket and told me to get new ones fitted really.

Since the scoring was to the under-the-car sidewall he said I wouldn't be able to see if/when it tumours. So I guess I'll have to.

Nose down was the main thing, pretty impressed with them to be honest as the ride is pretty much as stock sport.
Will let them settle in a while then look at some spacers for the rear.
I'm running 5mm all round at moment. But will be upgrading to 10mm give that bit more stance

H&R 35mm spring kit & B5 perches fitted.

Same setup as what I'm running, but I fitted brand new (Audi red) sport shocks at the same time.

Everyone who gets in says it's a very comfy ride for how much it's been lowered.

That's what I was thinking. I thought about puttin some h&r springs on mine but it already scrubs with a boot full on std sport suspension and b5 perches

The rear has only dropped 10mm if that and not had any scraping so far, what width rims and tyres you running?

8x19" on 235/35's not sure on offset of the wheels but they fill the archs perfectly

Fitted a centre armrest...makes a massive difference on long drives.

Also replaced the battery with a Bosch S4...so far so good however still getting the 3 beep brake warning light on a cold start up so not too sure whats going on there. While I was there i cleaned out the two grommets in the plenum, 10 years of gunk!

Planning on changing to Orsam nightbreakers later today.
