just been to see my dad about 40 miles away it's the longest I've been for along time in my car on the motorway the car has no power when you drop it in to 3rd to overtake .. I've just put cat back on the other week and been no where in it could it be it's still sorting it's self out still also when I had the car put back to standard after a crap map I had platinum plugs Still left in from the remap could it be a plug problem ?? Car pulls like a train in the low Rev range Audi a4 cab quattro 1.8t

Thinking back I replaced maf with one from euro car parts could it be the problem .. Coil packs are not all that old about 5 months tops

Best running some logs with VCDS if you have it.
You can usually work out the problem by looking at the air flow reading combined with fueling and requested boost.etc

Just done a quick scan with iPhone there are no codes logged just popped some new plugs in and it sounds a lot better not been for a drive yet

Limp mode or boost leaks? Would have surely shown something if it went into limp mode though.

Not limp mode it dose Rev past 4k but very slowly when driving . When car is still it Rev fine

I've never changed the pcv in the 4 years I've owned the car could that stop boost

I've got a new silicone turbo inlet pipe coming soon and I wanna replace all the pipes with silicone ones .. Been reading up and found the vag pipe could be sucking in under load

check the maf sensor by reading it in vcds
also did you change the n75 valve or standard re-circ valve

re-circ valve could be stuck open

N75 was replaced in the summer so it won't be that .. What is re-circ valve ??? You mean the dv found under the drivers side headlight if so replaced in the summer to .. If the Maf was faulty it would do the problem all the time car seems to fine when it's cold but soon as it's warm no power after 4k

Glad you have got it sorted and thanks for being honest about the fix. A lot of threads never have a conclusion because people don't report back on what the fix was.

Karl.

Had a lot on my mind over the last few months
