Bit late in posting this...

Finally collected my S3 - spec in sig - from ABZ Audi on Dec 4th, three days after my 21st!

I love the car so much and don't regret swooping for it at all :). Think I made all the right choices on the spec front although I found the general customer service from Audi to be really poor (I was always chasing them up for info) up until I actually collected it. Must be an Aberdeen thing???

I managed to squeeze 1200 miles on before I went offshore last Wednesday and I actually started red lining it after 500 miles although I do find myself driving more relaxed at times purely because I enjoy being in the S3. Surprised at how well it goes too... I gave an Evo VIII a huge run for its money up to the lights at Mannofield from Queens Road! Both cars were accelerating flat out and his nose was only inches in front of mine.

As soon as I'm home again I'll have the wheels sprayed gloss black, the windows tinted, calipers painted Lambo green and I am probably going to fit a full Miltek but I don't know if I can justify the price hike on the 8P system; especially when I believe it sounds more tinny so I may snatch up a Scorpion system instead as it sounds deeper and more menacing IMO.

Does anyone in the NE of Scotland fancy a meet at some point? All models of A3 welcome of course!

Anyway, here's a wee snap of the beast after a quick clean:

I honestly can't stop cleaning it either (still to give it a full wax and seal) but I guess that's what happens when you opt for a white car, lol.

Cheers,

Connor

Nice colour

I'm the same with mine, cleaning it every 2/3 days. Except when I'm offshore the wife won't touch it so its manky by the time I get home.

Haha, cheers! I actually had your profile pic saved so I could look at it and admire what's to come, lol.

So glad I went Glacier, hardly anyone in Aberdeen has gone Glacier so it's a bonus!

Get her trained!

Aberdeen Audi are notorious for poor service, the cars walk out the dealership all day long, so they are order takes rather than sales people, IMO. My work car park is full of new Audi's, they are so common in Aberdeen it's unbelievable.

Although, in fairness my last dealing with them (Tony Bourne and Graham) they were accommodating.

Love the car by the way.

Aberdeen seems to be a wash with S3 saloons :) Can't wait till i get mine. 12 sleeps to go :)

In my experience, all stealers have rubbish service. You've just got to put your foot down.

Lovely car mate, enjoy.

Nice S3 Connor :cool::cool::cool:

Still haven't seen a S3 saloon on the roads near me yet. TBH I've only seen 2 A3 saloons over the same period

Mk7 Golf R's and the new BMW M3/M4's are 2 a penny near to me. See different ones on a daily basis

Shop keeper not far from me has bought a grey s3 Saloon damn it! Wanted to be the first in the area with one. Still plenty of R's and seen a fair few M3/M4's also as well a ton of C63's and a couple of A45 AMG's.

There are very few saloons around here in general, let alone S3 ones.

Probably a combination of the model only being available in the last year, limited supply & long waiting times and I guess most people in the market for a small car are after a hatchback for the (perceived) practicality.

Whatever the reason, it's quite nice having something a bit rarer on the roads. Reminds me of my last one which was one of the first (Oct 2012) - was nearly two months before I saw another one :)

Congratulations on your new car. Sounds like you're enjoying it already!
Don't want to be a wet blanket but you'd be better of getting out into the countryside to enjoy its performance, should the old bill see you 'competing' at the traffic lights grand prix they'll class it as racing.

Looks great, enjoy Christmas................
