So if you ordered your car all over again....

Only four weeks in and I'm still loving mine, although many of the electronic toys have yet to be properly tested.

When I first specced the car Sepang Blue was a 2.5K special order but when I popped in some weeks later to add a few more toys, they told me it was now an official S3 colour option for £525, so that was a result. I really love the colour and have yet to see another one in my area but, if I had my time over again, I might be sorely tempted to go for this limited edition Daytona Grey I spotted recently, which I believe is only for the USA market .. looks really cool though:

Probably would give the phone box a miss as don't think that does anything. Would have liked the Tech pack to get the Sat Nav updates. Still not sure about standard suspension I went for over the Sport version for my S-line Sportback. Nice comfy ride but slightly lower may have looked a bit nicer. Roof Bars, comfort pack and Audi stereo all good, Towing pack also good (although on my second after bump up the rear).

That doesn't look anything like Dayton Grey, it looks more black than Grey
Google Daytona Grey and you'll see a closer match to it.

I had Daytona Grey on my previous B8.5 A4 2013 and exactly what it's meant to look like.

I would have been sad to see her go, but now you have the future to look
forward to. That Sepang Blue will be great! LF.

- which options you added that you either regret now / are disappointed with / don't really use

SS seats - would stick with standard sports seats next time round and opt for Alcantara
Extended mono.pur - goes well with SS seats or full leather, but an unnecessary £295 if opting for Alcantara (all IMHO obviously)
Through-load - nice to have on 3dr, but would probably live without on a 5dr

- which options do you wish you had spec'd but didn't

5dr - had a sportback previously, preferred the look of the 3dr and convinced myself practicality wasn't an issue, it is
Silver roof rails - on 5dr only obviously and again for practicality

- which options you thought about but decided not to spec and now having got the car feel you made absolutely the right decision

B&O - *** is more than adequate and saved myself £500
5-twin-spoke 'Star' design alloys - love the look, but too dark on a grey car IMO, and the 5-parallel spoke design alloys mean it's an s-line to most until it's too late :onthego:

I think I'd go Daytona Grey (chrome) or Brilliant Red (black pack) ... I'd leave out the ILP, as I can't really see the cup holder lights when you have the ashtray and my phone in there, and being able to adjust how brightly I can see my feet just doesn't interest me.

I'd probably leave out the red calipers too, as that would get me back to near as dammit or under my original purchase price ..

I didn't go daft with my spec (no Nav, no ACC, only the Audi Sound System, no tech pack) and I don't feel I miss out on anything that more options would give me.
