Hi Challinor,

Coking and inejction troubles are common also in modern engines due to fuel impurities.
Two friends of mine had troubles with injectors on 1.4 TFSI and my mother too on A1 1.2 TFSI had some misfires accelerating due tu fuel impurities that the addittive solved.

So I would like to have an explaination on why additives could harm the engine!

V Power contains a lot of detergent anyway, so your fuel system should be nice and clean.

I think with the most recent piezo injectors like we have on our cars, dislodging any gunk, rubbish or debris would be absolutely disastrous, as the holes are so minuscule the rubbish wouldn't blow through.

Best off leaving the V Power to do it's thing in my opinion.
