Hi, I've just received my hids direct h7 kit , has anyone fitted these? Did you manage to fit everything inside the headlight? I'm hoping to fit the ballasts in the oem position and there just seems a hell of a lot of stuff to cram into the headlight. Cheers

You will need a make a plate to sit under the light there's a guide somewhere on here also have you the cabus blocks so you don't get a fault plus reroute your passenger side earth from your headlight

I'm ok with making a cover for the ballast, it's getting everything into the headlight

You need to drill a hole for the wires where the ballast is

Cheers, like I say I'm ok with the fitting off it all, just hoping I can fit all the gubbins inside the headlight, mines have come with a separate resistor box that could be a problem fitting it in

I fitted that kit into the headlight assembly last year. Like you say it's a tight fit but if you put the ballast in OEM position and feed the rest up carefully then it does fit, just.

I was going to try without the resistor first and hope I don't get any warnings. I don't have dis so no bulb out warnings for me for a start

Well I finally got these fitted the other day, finally I can see. Was a squeeze getting everything inside the headlight but it's in there now. Might have to do the earth wire mod tho, dash has lit up twice so far

Get the earth mod done before you burn out your wiper motor .. It uses the same earth wire and can't cope with the extra load on it
