Hi guys .
Been looking at set of 18 inch 5 x 108 et45 8J wheels.

what would i need to do in order to bolt these onto my b5 s4.

I believe i would be ultimately looking to achieve an overall 18 x 8.5 et30 for a perfect fit.

Thanks in advance

a combination of low offset and wide wheels starts to cause problems.

ET30 at 8.5J is a bit "pokey", just depends if you mind that or not.

The wheels you mentioned are 8J though, which wouldnt be too bad at ET30.

IIRC i'm running ET33 rear and ET41 front on our avant, but i think they're 7.5J wheels.

You would need to find a spacer/adaptor which was 15mm thick and had the correct 5x108 to 5x112 PCD on it.

The H&R adapters are 20mm thick which would make your ET45 wheel an ET25. ET30 is likely to protrude beyond the arch and/or encourage the use of an incorrect tyre width for the rim creating a stretch.

so correct me if im wrong. 10mm wheel adapters would be a happy medium?

If you can get a set, admittidly I've not looked hard but what I have seen have all been 20mm. I'm running an 8J ET35 on my FWD A4 and it seems to work very well,
