hi guys.

Since I haven't got my car yet, I was wondering which continental tyres are on the a3 s line.

Just wondering since theres pro, sport and Eco (all I've seen so far)

My girlfriends car just got some new continentals on the front, and they looked different to her contiprocontact 2's on the rear, found out they were the contiecocontact 3 ones which is probably better for her car anyway, not sure if the number means how out of date her pro's are haha

Didn't know there were that many...

Don't assume you'll get Contis - they usually have a few different suppliers and it's a lottery which ones you get. My last 8V (3-door) had Conti Sportcontact 5s on (225/40/R18) but the new saloon has Dunlop Sport Maxx RTs (same size).

I would prefer Dunlop Sport Maxx RTs but will settle for Conti Sportcontact 5s, either is good

You'll get something of that ilk - i.e. a premium brand name tyre rather than cheap rubbish. My new A3s have come with Dunlop, Conti, Bridgestone & Pirelli.

My new A3 Saloon came with Continental. I am very happy
with these. No road noise either. :thumbs up:

Oh that's surprising, I do have dunlop sp sport maxx on my car currently (SEAT) and find them good but I would preffur continentals though so here's to hoping.

Veeeight's link looks more in favour for conti's for quite a large amount however
