Looking for some guidance on some kerbed allows: (

My Wife managed to ding both fronts, right on the rim. I tried to tidy them up with scotchbrite and emery paper but they look a mess. Rather than sending them away mid winter, i would rather wait until spring for a repair job.

The rims appear to be rusting now at the damaged areas, any tips on how to deal with this?????

Aluminium doesn't rust...?
If they are alloys then you can safely leave them indefinitely.

They diamond cut unfortunately they require specialist refinishing on a lathe (up to £100)the problem is once damaged they likely to eventually suffer from ringworm & corrode best thing to is put abit of vassaline on the damage area & keep it clean till you can refurb it

I found a new alloy on eBay for the price of a refurb
