Hi folks, took delivery of a new A6 with tech pack on Friday and I love it.
However, I'm having problems with text message dictation. When I try to do this I get a prompt to activate the licence. However, this fails an I am informed to contact the dealer. I have connected a Galaxy S5 via the carphone bluetooth profile and I can view/send texts via the MMI.
I have read in the MMI manual that this function is not available in all countries. Can any please advise me before I contact the dealer tomorrow?
Thanks.

The issue was escalated to the Audi factory. As Audi UK couldnt resolve this.

This is now resolved. Either Audi has enabled the service in a vehicle database. Or the fact that I paired the vehicle to a Samsung Note 3 and downloaded the licence successfully. I then paired my Galaxy S5 to the car and the message dictation works fine.

Also, I later upgraded the S5 to Android Lollipop and now it is possible to send/receive emails via the MMI.
