Hi all had my audi s3 2001 facelift pluggged in and it comes up with 2 faults on the lambda probe, seems to be using a lot more fuel, any help would be welcome thanks

Hi don't know the codes they plugged it in when it went for mot,i will try and find out.how did you solve your issue

My guess would be you need a replacement pre cat lamda sensor.

Yup, new sensor. As it happens I have acquired a sensor when buying a second hand down pipe

Yeah. It's going on my car in a week but the sensor is not required. Will have a Decat for sale though too

cheers is it easy to get to the lambda and where is the best place to buy a new one,eurocarparts???..thanks

I haven't changed mine so not to sure how problematic it is, but it's located at the back of the engine on the downpipe, remove strut brace, it will become clear where it is, you should get at it with a decent socket set also a lamda sensor socket is prob required. Ecp should be fine.
