S3 exhaust

I would have thought it would be possible to a certain extent. I'd be very surprised if the exhaust hanging points aren't universal under all 8V A3s, so it'd simply be a case of whether the diameter of the S centre section mates up to the outlet of the 2.0 TDI catalytic converter. Even if it doesn't, something should be workable with a stepped sleeve of some sort.

I'd actually like to do something similar when the rear section on mine becomes due for replacement and fit the twin pipe back box from a 2.0.

Would it not be just as cheap to have a power flow or similar made up?

Remus make a quad exit and supply different connecting tubes to fit different engines. Might be worth looking for one to fit your model.

I haven't got the s3 valance to finish it off but you get the idea

Why wouldn't you have just bought an S3 to start with?

Not in my budget, insurance cost, running cost etc etc.
I did intend to just run single pipes but I fancied the remus system when I saw it.

I think the quads on the S3 are a bit silly, prefer a center exit twin or the previous Golf R setup.
Why anyone would choose to add quads to a non S3 is beyond me but since you have the choice i would save the £££ and just get a decent twin setup instead!
(i also own a S3)

Cars would be boring if we all played it safe and kept things the same though
