Has this event gone ahead - would be keen to get an excuse to run out my S4?

The event has not happened yet buddy, we are just waiting to hear back from the dealership on a date that they can have us over. Hope you can join us with your S4 :)

Would be delighted to join you guys - if you don't mind a relative oldie amongst all these shiney new Audi's :)

Just posted some photos in the gallery thread.

Any more B5 S4 owners around?

Ro

We would be honoured to have a B5 S4 in our crew lad, they are amazing cars :) so please join us if you have the time.

I think there is one other S4, a red one on here

Delighted to be able to join in - put blood sweat and tears (and ££) into the old girl - be great to get a day out with like minded four ringers locally.

Also be nice to chat to another B5 S4 owner - never met one :)

If anyone is interested I photographed some of the restoration of the car, engine work, re-spray etc; - worth a post on another thread?

A twin turbo S4 owners typical garage... :)

Well that's what it's all about, at least you have a beautiful car to show for it. I take it, it isn't your daily driver then lol

Is that the engine for it? I bet it goes like sheet of a shovel haha

Absolutely mate put a restoration thread up in the B5 section of the forum, would be very interested in looking at it :)

That's the engine around Aug/Sept of 2014 sort of well into the rebuild. The turbo's are very small so there is no real lag when you put your foot down - so it pulls right away - but very civilised in that regard - really smooth power delivery. It's due for a remap shortly and a set of downpipes - so it should hit the 330 BHP mark I guess when all is said and done. That being said I wouldn't want to change how it drives too much. If I make it up to the meet you should take it for a spin :)

Ohh 330bhp, makes my diesel 143bhp B8 look like a wee girl in comparison :lmfao:

I'd love to have a go in it mate, that's very kind of you :)

I'm sure it will sound immense with the downpipes
