Something really silly has kind of impressed me. When I picked the car up, dealer showed me that you can write a letter with your finger on top of the dial, for example when entering a sat nav location etc. Never knew it could do this. How cool is that?!!

It is kind of cool but a bit of a gimmick really - using voice to dictate to it is usually far more efficient.

I use it for a lot of stuff, mixture of voice and handwriting, some methods work better for different things.

I prefer the touch input to the voice input. I can never remember the correct phrases for using the voice commands and even when I do I usually get a prompt reply of "pardon??" From the system!

If you are left handed it's easy too. I'm not and it's a bit awkward!

All us right handers still manage to change gear with our left hands :p

I can't say I've ever had to switch to numbers manually...

Me neither. I just carry on writing.

(The Challinor has got weird/dead fingers anyway, he can't feel the difference between leather and velvet ;) )

I've already had a feel of your parts, I knew it wasn't genuine the moment I stroked it ;)

Im probably more impressed than most...
You should see the state of my handwriting, & that's with my right hand, not to mention my left!!

^ Numb fingers ;)

(we did manage to establish though, when writing post codes, you just carry on writing, don't have to switch to numbers or anything like that- it was his crap handwriting that was the problem)
