Today im gonna fit my face lift front lights may be fit a dump valve but may be not . I managed to get some s3 alloys late last night does any one if they fit as well as changing number plate bulbs led of course il upload pics when finished

You are going to have to part with a bit more info than that Ads

What's year is your car and what year was the car your wheels came off because the pcd and off set might be diffrent.

Mine is 99 plate and the s3 was a 01 I think

That's fine the off set and pcd are the same they will bolt straight on.

Hopefully all goes smoothly for you mate.. I was planning fitting facelift lights on my s3 but the wiring put me off a bit

You can buy wiring adapter's to convert from pre to facelift.

Yeah adaptors are a bit expensive. Maybe OP can document the installation for facelift headlights

Yeah it would be good to see what way he tackles the job but if not I will put up a how to on the wireing side of things when I do mine in the new year.

Yeah it's just when you combine the cost of xenon headlights plus adaptors, become very expensive. The thing i struggle with on the wiring side of things is identifying what wire goes to which bulb. I've got a multi meter but haven't clue what setting it should be on etc.

Easy way to do it is unplug the light and start at the top pin and follow the wires in the head light its self once you trace all the wires to pin position you will know witch pin on the loom goes to each bulb but I will do a how to and pics of what wire is what when I do mine.

Clear silicon round the edge of the unit and wipe it clean your never notice it and it will keep the water out.

Not the best pic of the headlights

Ive also been looking at hydro dipping but I don't no if it's permanent as its only a sticker

If you get it done proper they put a layer of lacquer over them so it would be permanent unless you kerb them or don't look after them.

Wicked im getting hydro dipped wheels hopefully the missis has no got my xmas present yet il keep u informed
