Not sure if this has already been posted elsewhere but...

http://www.revotechnik.com/

As if that wasn't tempting enough i've just noticed my local Audi specialist 5 miles away are now authorised dealers. If only it wasn't sodding Xmas!!!

Not bad - is this like installing a chip? Or getting it "mapped" as some may say?

If all your after is a decent stage 1 generic map then £260 is a steal.

only problem is at the end of it you have revo!
too many recent probs from them for me
custom mapping all the way!!

After reading this I booked my s3 in for the 8th of January. I read somewhere they can be a little spikey.

On these old engines now, the software does not "fit all" like it would have when they were 3-5 years old. A proper custom map makes much more sense. Likey be to be more reliable and better power

Never had any probs, pulls really strong and good on fuel when your careful, overtaking is effortless.

i think its more dependant on the dealer than the map itself
people running stage 2 with no upgraded hardware
big no no but see it a lot
cars arent checked for faults or boost leaks customers are simply in and out then post on here when they realise something's not right afterward
been quite a few recently

£260 ish can get you a custom map from someone who will fault test your car
smoke test it
map it to your cars potential without going too far making the car get too hot and then causing the car to pull back and making less power!!
its a absolute no brainer
260 for a generic map on every tom **** and harrys car is certainly no bargain
its just better than their over pricing in the first place.
