Aight! But why did you mess around with the reverse light?
I'm gonna give my car some eyes in the back as well, and I think it's to expensive with rear sensors.
The camera will fit well with my RNS-E retrofit.

once i installed the 5mm spacers i thought i'd get the alignment checked to see if i could get any more camber out of the front. the suspension shop said its pretty well set up for road and occasional track use so i thought i'd leave it alone. he did slightly adjust the rear toe...
once i got the car back home i gave the inside a quick clean after my recent rooting around installing stuff. not much more to do now; illuminated bose speaker grilles and s3 glove box handle, illuminated switch for water meth on/off and illluminated switch blank for status light, also toying with the idea of a gauge for water meth flow meter. not sure whether to install the gauge in a vent pod or replace the boost gauge on the steering cowl. i'm not really a fan of the cowl gauge at the moment as it doesn't look much like an oem install...

i had a couple of days during my last break to do it a bit more to the s3, i finally got these made up to ensure my wheels clear the rs3 brakes. pretty hard to tell they are there i reckon...
i then decided to tackle wiring up my push start as i only had time to install the switch last time. not many photos unfortunately, first requirement is to remove the steering wheel...
a snap of the connection to the rear of the ignition barrel. for anyone planning to do the same mod the wires which require switching are the yellow and red ones...
while i was in the mood and things were going well i decided to install the s3 and 4 rings switches which i will use for my w/m set up. s3 push button for on/off and the 4 rings for the wm status light...
finally a quick vid of the push start in action...
once it was all complete i gave the car a wash and wax before i took it for a run to the pub. i also wiped the engine bay down and was surprised how well it came up so i took a photo...

the hybrid arrived in the post yesterday so should hopefully see more power in the new year...
and finally another shout out to my contact at audi for coming through with fuses i was chasing (a couple of fuses in the fusebox were a different type and my ocd couldn’t handle it) and he threw in an mmi cable for good measure, top man...

nice idea but with a brain the size of a pea that thing wouldn't know one end of a spanner from the other. the only possible chance i'd get of some help would be if the tools had food strapped to them...
wow, amazing mods on your car, and beautiful, i need to know about the start stop push button.. i saw on your first pictures that you have the hole for the key(standard for everyone) ..in fact you need to put the key, turn fwd to put the contact and the pushbutton is only here for the start/ignition..? and for turn off the engine still the same (push on start button or just turn back the key) ?? if you have the Part number for the part with the start pushbutton i'm interesting?

thanks mate, its just a start button, no stop. yep you have to turn the key to ignition on before pressing start. most people aren't a fan as its an extra movement in the system but i like the way it looks and i'm not in that much of a hurry to start my car...
i'll dig the part numbers out when i get chance but think they are included in this guide...

nothing special but for some reason i like it. my mate grabbed his camera off the passenger seat to take a photo of the pub and i noticed the s3 in the shot when i was flicking through his photos. i wish he'd closed the door...

ebay could be your best friend when sourcing the amp and other parts. i got my amp second hand from ebay usa and the smaller converter (or whatever it is) directly from audi, about $50...

thanks mate, i'll have a read now. i just ordered my wm kit yesterday so looking forward to installing that soon.
i'd like to pm you to get your feedback on nozzle sizes if thats ok, like wise i'll share my results with you once i've installed mine. i'm installing at the throttle body and charge pipe...

My WMI is fitted but not active as i've had to send the controller away for testing due to it being faulty we presume.
I've got the dual nozzle upgrade as well. I was only going to fit the one nozzle on the charge pipe but i've heard this has been known to mess up the MAP sensor. I have the 350-475 WHP Snow Performance nozzle on mine as this is what the car is making. Might have to re-think my nozzle placement and run it through the throttle spacer that came with the kit that i've yet to install.
Let me know how you get on. Keen to share info and experiences.

Ye that bonnet bra looks cool on that! Don't think it would look that good on my silver beast tho lol
pull hard mate, sorry that's all i can say. you may find that some of the clips stay on the car and be careful not to loose the rubber plugs on the back of the trim...

after a few swear words and some new tools...
blocked up the intake as it was time for a drink...
beer and a sit down was a good call...
more gunked up than i expected for 22,000 clicks...
replaced the ****** corrugated plastic pipe...
with a bit of silicone...
also replace some breather hoses
won't been needing these anymore...
and with the rfd kit installed...
a good opportunity to install the 155 bar rail valve too...
may as well install this at the same time...
no 2 nozzle for reference...

Only one thing your missing really and that's the rs3 grill!
Would finish the car off totally!
i do like rs3 grilles, i prefer them on rs3's though. just going to stick with the standard s3 grille i reckon...
