Has anyone got this headlight upgrade.....

I'm not usually one for adding non -OEM headlights especially with DRLS but those look kind of cool with the Q5 style LED strips and what look to be projector lenses too. Would like to see a B7 with them on though and see if it works as a whole package.

to me they look so so wrong for the B7
but if you like they buy and fit.

Must say I thought they looked pants in your older thread but they look ace in those pictures.
 
looks like theres something missing as the bar doesn't fill the full light

then the 4 leds at the bottom just looks like someones gone over the top and stuck them all in there.

sorry mate i think they look awful, but then again who am I to judge?
if you like em go for it,its your car, make suit you not the rest of us.
I've gone for a kind of aftermarket/DIY LEDs which were quite costly, but worth the money as they absolutely ace.

I had the above they do look like they should be there

only problem is you have to get them from the USA and to fot have to split the headlights BUT its easy to do.

There are so many lights that we can get for our B7's that they really do split opinion. I have had 3 sets in total now. They all have been fairly 'dull' in brightness until I got the ones on my car above. I agree about the 4 LED's at the bottom. They should have just made another bar there and be done with it. In that old post I did, DieselJake, I think that was before I used Plasti Dip on the grille which I think now makes the lights look a lot better.
 
I had those Starline ones as well. They were OK, but the LED seemed to be at an angle, so they were mega dull front on. Not sure if yours were like that?
 
The led's were acceptable on the ones I had it was the light output on dipped beam that was the problem, thinking about it they were ****** dangerous, I had 2 faulty lights and Hid's that never worked.
 
don't like them .... just tell you my opinion ! I think is better to go for retrofit projectors and will have bi-xenon and they look like OEM, good output and you will have good OEM headlights not brand like DEPO, TYC or other **** from ebay !
this is what i mean .... but if you like so much DRL's ....
