Was going to buy an a3 3.2 quattro today Sunday 14 2014 but the idiot got upset when I asked him general questions about the car and called me a time waster and also asked me to call him so when I called the first thing that came out of his trap was that he's a body builder hahaha like I really care and two not to call him mate when he actually started calling me mate via text and then he says forget it when asked if he was being mature about what he was saying and how he was acting lol anyone know this clown from devon.

What does bodybuilding have to do with buying his car ? Is the suspension going to be worn because he is massive or are the seats not going to be worn because of his steroid shrivelled ****
Some people huh

:faint::weight lift2:Tell me about it lol I couldn't believe the guy when he accused me of calling him late at night when I actually emailed him at 930pm and he texts me back at around 11.15pm what a fruit with a pea sized brain.
I guess he didn't like me asking about the wheels being damaged and the body work looking kind of off colour and the rear door being gapped a little wide. He then called me a time waster and to call him so I did but maybe I should have left it there as he was being a right bully and if I could really give a hoot about his 220lb steroid addition lol

Ps the pictures looked good but we're old ones as the interior was dirty and car had scratches so really should have put fresh pictures and a description on of how it is now

Super-Fit Steve can't spell for s**t! I guess you are bound to meet complete a-holes in life who are full of themselves. One of the reasons I never enjoy selling or buying cars privately. At least you generally expect to deal with a sleaze-bag at a dealership. Hope you find the car you are looking for ;)

Leshkin thanks for that MATE lol I can't believe what I had to deal with this morning and seriously I too hate buying and selling cars as I have to do both at the mo and I'm so dreading it firstly buying another one then selling my mk1 TT

:undwech:I did actually like the car but super fit Steve put me off and guessing there must have been other things wrong with the car or why get upset.

As soon as someone is funny with you when you are buying from them the alarm bells are ringing, just walkway or run as superfat steve will be chasing you :D

:greyrs4::sign yum:Lmso voorhees it was the way he said I'm a body builder before anything else got me wondering what else he was thinking hahahaha not cars

roid rage, imagine how he drove it?

:anbet:If your saw his picture like I did on what's app you'd be shocked lol

He's selling on ebay again

All sounds a bit sad really, I worked in Devon for a couple of years and they're generally nice people.
You do get the odd brick that wants to fight with every Royal Marine in the place though...!
He seems to have gone off quick...?

:yahoo:
True glad I didn't drive 4 hours to buy it phew
I bought my 3.2 a ways away from where i live because i looked at a few and this was the "best" one. If you look at my other posts it was sold by an Audi A3 specialist. All the problems come down to it being heavily hit (curbed) off side front wheel, no way a specialist would just put on recon wheels and sell it on, lots of other problems. I'd say the car i have now is mint, lovely to drive. would say it has to have more than 95 ron in it though for fuel economy, i get 35 mpg from 99 ron momentum

Yeah that's because I asked about the damage to the rear quarter panel lol

That's quite good miles from a 3.2 :-O wow I read they only give around 17 miles to the gallon?.

I can get less than that with a bit of 'spirited' driving but, normally, I can usually squeeze 30 - 35 mpg out of my one.
It also needs to run on premium fuel and that usually gives better mpg.
;)

I had a similar thing when I agreed to buy a a4 Dtm. Everything seemed fine until I mentioned it had fsh- so I did the usual "do you have the receipts etc?""
I guess translation got lost in my scottish accent because he had a complete personality transplant and turned aggressive/ sensitive, called me a c**t and said he was fed up of time wasters like me.
In the end I am chuffed he turned into a nob as he was obviously hiding something- if you ask me you had a close call on buying a potential nightmare

It must have been the way you said,

"Dae ye huv aw ra chits fur the wurk dun oan ra carr, pal".....?

Seriously, some people just don't have it in them to be courteous and polite. There are w*****s everywhere but, when you are attempting to do them the favour of buying their car, they should really try harder not to be an ar*e.

;)

Ha I do love the way some think we all speak like rab c Nesbit haha.

Back on topic though it's the balance you haveo weigh up- pay over odds from a dealer or play used car roulette

I got my one through a dealer and it was worth every penny that I shelled out on it. It was turned out to perfection.

(And nae baw bags tae deal wi).....!!!

Too many idiots out there get upset when you ask them a genuine question about the car lol
I usually have an eye for detail as long as the car is clean the paint work can be then looked at in detail but some sly feckers hide this by leaving the car dirty outside so the scratches and scuffs can't be seen so be warned to anyone buying a car to look out for this type of sales tactic :wtf:

The 3.2 is a great car so far every person that has slated it has changed opinion on it after I've given them the keys for a shot
