The passenger side door aluminium trim has been damaged, can anyone point me in the right direction for a used one? or new one at a cheaper price than the dealers are charging?

I've tried eBay for the last 2 weeks and nothing has popped up.

If it helps, the part number is: 8P4867409

Thanks.

I wouldn't mind a pair of these too, mine are really scratched where the previous owner has carelessly let their keys touch them.

mine has some lovely seat belt dings in it all courtesy of the previous owner. HATE it when people let the seatbelt go... :(

I also need some aluminium door trim! Although mine is from a 2004 and has a small hexagon (i think) pattern pressed into it.

Feel free to PM me if you have some.

That's the one that I need, does anyone know where you can get them from?

They are £79 +vat at the Dealers, ouch, just bought one after trawling the web for a cheaper one but none available.

Yes I have this problem too. A bit of bad design it seems. I think I will try and wrap mine but worry it will look tacky due to my own poor application :(

Guys I have checked and these trims from a 3 door won't fit, good luck hunting a set down. Have you tried scrap merchants?

Should you have any mates with a 3 door and the same problem put them my way please. Want to shift these before Christmas

Thanks for your help L1ARR.

Nothing on eBay! I've checked more or less everyday.

I'm probably gonna have to take the plunge and buy a new one from Audi.

Hi guys

I'm after one for the drivers door.

If anybody has one or knows a cheaper place than the stealers then please let me know

Thanks

I've had a go at covering mine up with some carbon fibre paper wrap stuff. Doesn't look to bad. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350921245073703

I'm a right clumsy git so I was pleased with the result. I think it's got tiny holes in to stop bubble cause I didn't get one bubble at all. Less than £4 for a roll off eBay it's worth a crack. Wish I had gone for the black carbon now though.

Nice, for £4 its worth buying a roll applying it and if you dont like it, rip it off and bin it.
Will have a look...
Thanks!!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread can someone confirm how you do about removing the old Al door trim? (From a 2011 sportsback)
My drivers side one is all scratches from the previous owner and thinking about options or replacing it!

They just pop off if I remember correctly, but its best to use a plastic trim removal tool to reduce the risk of damaging the trim. Also, try not to pull it back too much as the piece will bend easily.

Start from the edge of the door and carefully pop it out, one clip at a time until all of them are done.

The set of trim tools can be had from Amazon for a tenner.

My drivers ones marked but I haven't got round to that yet, although I had it in my head it was a door trim off job?

No, its all clips. Once all are done, you can slide the trim toward the edge of the door to remove it.
