A few more pics of the front aswell

nice one mate, what do I need to search to find one? Just had a look through loads and no luck yet.

I will send you the link mate

Thanks for the eBay numbers, I've been looking for one with red stitching for a while and have contacted the seller previously- ordered now! Love the engine cover how did you get done and how much did it cost? I did get a Porsche coolant cap and machined washer fluid cap that have a more premium feel and look under the bonnet but beware the R8 oil cap won't fit

No worries mate.

I bought a 2nd engine cover, new brake ducts and new front and rear splitters. The engine cover was £70 to get painted.

Thanks about the R8 cap!

Nice subtle mods - gearstick looks ace :thumbs up:

Where did you get the colour coding done? Dealer ? Excellent colour match which is quite hard to do without spraying all the bumper etc.....

Cheers mate, i got it done at a local spray shop i was recommended, funnily enough when i turned up they had a 64 plate sepang S3SB in that had had light front end damage and their colour match was awesome which sold it to me as them being a good bet

Wish I lived nearer to you then! Having a total ball ache trying to find a decent bodyshop as my bonnet got keyed

Settled on using my dealership bodyshop as can just keep taking it back until they get it right. So hit and miss with quality bodyshop to bodyshop

The work on yours is an excellent job and adds much more to the visual presence! The engine cover is great mod also. Not many colours a mod like that would work with (white for example).

Looks great! Especially the engine cover :) nice to see you got the shift knob as well:)

Thanks very much.

It took all of about 2 minutes to fit, there is a how-to on here (or it might have been on thea1forum) somewhere and its a really good help

Hi Paulo,

So tell me, I note the high boot spoiler, is this the exterior pack? Looking at the brochure options, it states "Xenon headlights" like its part of the extra but the car gets it anyway, Red Trim, Red calipers, Quattro side logo (any sticker shop can produce this) Striking Spoiler and aluminium lip. For £1245, that seems a lot especially then it goes on to say you can deselect the red headlight and calipers trim as well as the boot spoiler. OK you get the Alloys but they are only £650. Seems like they have you by the balls just to get the Spoiler which is all I'd want.

Also, think Sepang is the colour we will get based on yours as no other colour seems to do it justice but I'd be rid of that Black bar under the plate advertising the dealer and get rid of the GB too, but that's just me.

I love the car and the mods.

Just one thing that's bugging me, your front number plate still has the blur protective film on. It would look much nicer having a proper shiny number plate!

Its funny you mentioned the blue sticker on the number plate when you did. Its been on there for a few weeks now and only yesterday did i remove it, then i saw your comment. I personally liked it and had alot of compliments about it. But each to their own and I appreciate your opinion mate!

Ha coincidental.

I didn't mean it in anyway bad and like you say each to there own, I guess it suited with the colour of the car :)

It is a great looking car though!

Nice knob (had to be said) Can the old one be kept as a spare or does it have to be sawn off ?

It's a simple swap-there's a walk through thread on here. You can easily replace the OEM as long as you're careful

I have ordered an S1 in the same colour and looking at yours I'm glad I did although one of other guys ( Stuttgartrob ) has one in negaro blue and looks fantastic but he said he paid a couple of thousand euros for the privilege, bit too much for me so sepang blue will do nicely. I also ordered the aluminium gear stick but it was £130! And I don't get to have the original if I want to swap it over, I wish I joined this forum before I ordered the car, yours was only £80 and you still have the original, such is life. It's cold though? Maybe Michael Jackson had an Ali gear knob as he used to wear one glove all the time. Nice car mate! Get mine end of March.
