When I put full right lock on from standing still and then moving away it feels like its skidding, like on ice when it cant grip.
ive jacked car up and inspected balljoints, antiroll bar bushes etc and all feels fine. There was no ice so can rule that out.
Car is a FWD A4 B6 1.9tdi avant

Any ideas guys

I never thought of that john,im sure they are fine but will check tomorow to elimate them being at fault:)

Could be wheel alignment, if it's slightly out one wheel will be turning alot more than the other on full lock and can cause that dragging feeling

the wheel I suspect had 28psi in it,all the other 3 had 35psi so hopefully that was the problem.I'll see how it goes

Could also go for thinner tyres, I know it sounds illogical that thinner tyres get better grip but apparently they do in bad weather conditions, theirs also winter wheels but obviously that'll probably end up costing a fair bit if you have two sets with decent tyres plus you'll be rolling on some wheels you don't like as much for half the year.

Mine sort of does this but I'm thinking it's an abs sensor as it's been faulty for a while now and it feels like the osf which is the one with the faulty sensor

Plus my brakes are sometimes spongy and the abs kicks in yet my brakes are physically fine.
So must be a sensor that's gone

Try turning off the traction control mate

I will do mate, I've just had it on full lock and went to turn and it jumped as it turned :/ strange
Il turn it off if not il vagcom it

Lol never thought about a cv
Il get them checked

The whole car needs a few things so nice cheap fixes I'm hoping for lol
