Hi guys every time I dip the clutch pedal my revs rise so reading around it seemed like the clutch switch was the issue I bought a new one from Audi but the problem is still there.

So I called Audi and the parts guy is telling me there is more then one clutch switch for these cars

Is this true? If so anybody got part numbers or a pic of where it's located?

Thanks

as far as I know theres one clutch switch

Had another look can't see any other seitch so maybe this new switch is faulty.

If switch is fitted incorrectly, it can be damaged. Will post a link shortly.

Sorted Audi supplied a faulty clutch switch they tried blaming me for damaging it while installing it but I was not having any of it.

New clutch switch fitted and car drives better :)

Was this happening when the car in tick over? Or just changing up through the gears? More so when you boot it a little?
mine is doing the same, more so when I boot it, off accelerator and dip clutch, revs rise around 500 I suppose.
Going to do turbo diverter as well as clutch switch as have heard they can go and need doing at some point anyway.

There is two clutch switches:

I never saw that clutch switch starter in my car? My car the revs still rise when I'm stuck in traffic and if I dip the clutch pedal it rises 300-500rpm and speed is around 10-15mph

Anyone know why it's doing this?
