Evening all, just bought my first s3 and I absolutely adore it. Owned a audi a3 1.8t a few years back and that was a good car but the s3 is just pure class. I so nearly bought a type r, and I'm so chuffed I didn't. The s3 is totally standard. Comes with the extras of, satnav, Bose, heated seats, parking sensors (for the girlfriend). Has a few small issues, glove box hinge and drivers seat won't raise. However thanks to you guys I have read that they are both fairly easy fixes! The pixels on the dash will need attention but will probably let someone else fix that. Anyway, thanks to all the users new and old for all the posts. I read the buying guides and I appear to have bought a gooden. It's had a full rebuild in 2012 and a new turbo and the same time, Infact I have receipts for £8000 spent on it in the last 3 years. Off for another spin in it
