What mpg is realistic ?
Probably 70% motorway

I currently do about 1000 per week.

Thanks

There are one or two people on here with SQ5's I would try PM'ing them

Looking on fuelly can only find one and looks like that struggles to do more than 24mpg , but you don't know what kind of driving it's doing, I suspect just local stuff as it has only done 2500 miles in 4.5 months.
The official figures look quite good

37.2 mpg on the urban cycle but the car on fuelly doesn't seem to get anywhere near that.

Hi,

I'm a company car driver and have an SQ5, if you keep it in 'D' around the 60 to 70MPH mark you'll get great mileage. I've had 40MPG (according to the computer).

Obviously, if you drive it quick and use the paddles and 'S' you will get nearer 34MPG.

All in all I'm over the moon with everything about my SQ5.

What to take in to account also is it defies gravity!! Genuinely quick!

You'll love it!

Having had a 3ltr TDI, and a Cayenne with the same motor, we got and get between 33-35mpg average, that includes Motorway driving ( Mrs with a lead foot also ). Can only guess a more sprightly motor will consume a bit more.

Thanks for all the responses....now just need to consider if i buy on PCP personally or put through company and take the hit on my tax !

I own an SQ5. Fuel consumption was not high on my list of requirements. I was pleasantly surprised. I regularly return 39+mpg.

Appreciate the priorities, 39 is impressive however.

I used to average high 20's (my commute was 4 miles), long journey high 30's. These are calculated figures, not the optimistic DIS computer.
So with 70% motorway you should be well into the 30's on average.
I would say I have a heavy foot and you could get much more, but people don't buy 300bhp cars if they have a light foot so it's a moot point!
