Can anyone confirm if a 19" will fit as had a run in with aa recently and they nearly never recovered me for not carrying a spare whee l . They classed as self inflicted running bigger wheels and not having a spare which is right I suppose lol
What a ****, how can we pay for recovery then be told a puncture was self inflicted. Reminds me of when my breakdown cover swindled £200+ to recover the car after a crash yet this was clearly the same as recovering a none running car.
Presuming the wheels are 35 in height theirs no issue with boot width and I've had my own 19's which are 8.5J fit in the boot fine (from what I remember, worst comes to worst the carpet will be raised a couple mm).
I leave my spare at home and carry a can of tyre foam, I also don't have breakdown cover due to my experiance and live in hope that the car doesn't fall apart.

Yeah I was not impressed as I was basically told my cover was void as they also would only recover me within a 10mile radius to a garage of my choice . Apparently if a car left the factory with a spare it should have one and with it been lowered he didn't even want to attempt to Jack it up and said he did not have a Jack that would go under it. The only reason I keep it doing is for the break down repair as it's saved me a few big bills as they foot the cost of the repair up to 500 quid if it can't be fixed at the road side and I can use that 3 times in a year. I run 235 35 19" so I'll be on the look out for a spare now thanks.
