Had to unplug my central locking/siren/vacume pump unit in the boot as it was faulty draining the battery & siren not working etc. But now my windows, inside light dont work now. Could i reconnect it and just unplug a fuse to stop the central locking working?.
Does any one know where to get and how much a replacement unit is? Also is it only made by Audi or can you get replacements cheaper.

The central locking pump sends an "OK" signal to the window motors to tell them they're allowed to activate.

You can jumper the appropriate wires at the CL pump connectors to get the windows working again. The lights however are controlled by the CL pump and wont work with it missing.

Thanks mate, But my battery is still going flat. So it is not the control unit. I have noticed that the audi navigation unit in boot pocket by cd changer always has the red light on maybe it is this thats draining the battery?? Might pull out the fuse to see if this helps. I am out of ideas as to what it could be - any ideas guys will be appreciated thanks.
Also does anyone know where to get a central locking/control unit from?

Multimeter which measures amps required!

Put it between the battery negative and ground, and then pull fuses until the drain goes away.
