BW 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50

That would be funny if we all got a phone call at same time saying our saloons were all in the uk. Must be a nightmare to remember who's is who's when there probably looking all the same :laugh: There going to have to check chassis number for everyone lol hope it's 2 weeks, 3 weeks most. I don't want to wait any longer than 3! :(

Mine is also at Emden (BW47). Sounds like my Glacier White S3 will be keeping your cars company too. I'm starting to get a little bit excited. Was going to hold off for delivery until January, but don't think i'll be able to hold out that long!

yup, getting sooner rather than later. I am hoping 3 weeks max.....

I've just sold my Astra. It's public transport for me until I pick up my S3 on Wednesday.

Hopefull should be easy Jonny

Mine hasn't got privacy glass, so thats easy. But mcnally's has (if my memory serves me right) but yours has no S3 badges & his has

So ticks 'em off the ship better make sure he has his glsses on lol

Aww well hopefully that should be enough haha. Imagine if they got mixed up! What a nightmare haha. Keep me updated with any updates. I've had nothing so far so guessing nothing's changed.

Be interested to hear if you get any more info this week. Mine's BW46 and also coming via Coventry Audi but my lease company aren't giving me any information at all so just waiting to hear anything really.

Who is your lease with? Mine is Inchcape - I get the odd email, well two since I ordered the car at the beginning of July. The last email stated the car is due to arrive at Coventry on 28th (friday). As for Coventry, Yasmin has failed to reply to my emails on a few occassions so have ended up ringing her to get a response. I have spent the afternoon prepping the 8P - removing LED interior lights and have re-wired the dash cam system just to work of the ciggy socket with wires drapped around. I have asked to a dealer handover... watch this space...
 
No idea tbh, all going through a broker. I'm also collecting mine as I'm only in Birmingham, just wondering when it'll arrive.
 
Lease company have spoken to the dealer, still a couple of weeks away apparently.

They have given me the VIN though which I've plugged into myAudi just to check the spec is correct! (It is)

My BW45 S3 SB - equipe Sepang - being collected Sat. (hopefully, as still showing at port as of today).

How do dealers do new car registrations now? I assume that since the demise of the local DVLA offices there must be an online system, otherwise would take a week or more to send documents in the post, process & send back.

They are still maintaining it was build week 45. Took less than 2 weeks to build and be delivered to the dealer. :think:

Here's a question I need answering, it's probably a stupid one too but I'm not used to PCP finance offers etc.

I've got all the finance paperwork I need to sign and return but I'm confused about the Total amount I'm having to pay now as it's just over £1000 more than originally quoted for (the cash price of the car hasn't changed though). Without asking me they have pulled down the monthly payments to around £135 from £400 and made the final payment £13K as apposed to £3K.

Is the extra £1000 because I'm paying less per month? I can't understand that as I'm still borrowing the same amount of money.

Can anyone explain or is this a mistake? I hope I've explained the situation correctly.
 
A bit late to the party, but I've just been bumped to week 50 from week 3! :D The dealer has said it won't change now as it's 'been confirmed'. I was originally going for a March collection, but I really don't care about a 15 plate and just want my car now!

I'm hoping for a mid - end of January collection, does that sound about right?

I've just rung Coventry as my contact didn't reply to my email again. I asked about progress and she said the car was in the country but still to go through their PDI centre. She recons to confirm a delivery date with me next week.

Nevermind confirm, I want the darn thing next week.

Depends on the deposit your putting down and how long the PCP is for,3 or 4 years, The bigger the deposit the lower the monthly payments. Low deposit = high monthly payments. Which in turn will effect the Total figure to pay! Seems a big jump down from £400 p.m to £135 p.m! however that is reflected in your final figures to pay £13000 v's £3000!! How much deposit are you putting down? The cash price will stay the same but the deposit and monthly payments will be manipulated for the term ofthe PCP.
 
I think I've worked it out now mate. My deposit is £15k. The reason of the difference is because of interest. I've agreed on £250 per month with £9k to pay at the end. I'm comfortable with this. :)

was speaking to sales people today, my S3 Sepang Saloon is in the UK. Well ahead of schedule, hope to be in Belfast in next 1-2 weeks. I would assume fellow BW 47 sepang saloons will be here also......

Mine was built week 47 (15/11/14)

Dealer said my car was at the dock for three days as of yesterday.

He didn't think it would be here for another 2-3 weeks!

I really hope mine is In the uk!
 
I'm shocked bristle hound hasn't commented on mcnallys comment!! We were all supposed to be on the same boat!!!
 
Just stopped in by Aberdeen Audi to check a few things. My build week has been pulled forward to week 49. Not sure if that'll change collection date what with the factory being closed over xmas. Still planning for mid January and if it's a week earlier then it's a bonus :)

Wow, feel for you buddy. Mine was bw45 and mines been in the UK for 2 weeks. Picking it up on Saturday :D

Mine was BW47 mate. The garage usually tracks the ships. But they will get an update when it had been shipped. If they check that is.
 
Know the feeling, mine was in the UK for weeks before I got it, you soon forget the long wait once you collect it
