Get in touch with Bill @ Badger 5 mate... he can quote for all parts needed and build costs if not looking to do it yourself but this level of power doesn't come cheap these days and you will be looking at 5k and up depending on far too many things to list... its cheaper if planning to do the work yourself but doing ti right will still not be cheap... do you have a budget?

4k will be a struggle tbh mate...

Best bet is to sort the engine so its ready to take the power... you would need to consider brakes and suspension too...

Most 1.8t's are a little tired... you will spank around 1500-2000 getting the engine in the right place for 400hp... DP and manifold will set you back a grand then there is the turbo... GT3071 will be in the region of 1200...

There are cheaper ways but you lose reliability and power is not as easy to find (been there on more than one occasion)...

Ahh ok fair enough might take a few months to complete then what would I need in regards to engine wise Pistons rods bearings ?

I would suggest having a read of my build thread from here...
http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/my-minor-modding-thread.76389/page-53#post-1911525

From that post on is where I did my engine build and recent round of upgrades etc... it should give you an idea of what to expect, how to go about it and and the sort of parts list you would need to put together... consider this the 'research' part of your build then come back asking any questions you need to clarify stuff...

These questions get asked quite a lot so rather than repeating its easier to point people at my build thread as most of it is covered off there (I take lots of pics etc)

If you are feeling particularly bored you can read from the start... that might take you a little while longer though lol..
