Im not sure I have all the features right so far though, folding mirrors and bluetooth music im not really 100% sure on all of them.

Any opinions/things i got wrong?

:)

Running costs

Insurance costs
Annual Tax
Service Costs

I had considered adding insurance, tax idc about, and servicing is quite similar across the board for the basic stuff, plus i dont have all that to hand haha.

What do you think about the cars so far? Despite all of that im leaning to A5's

Had a quick look, Instead of counting ticks you should be assigning a weighting score to the items. obviously somethings you want more than others, such things as electrically adjustable seats are pretty much a waste unless you share the car a lot with somebody else. Also if a car has bluetooth why would you want an Aux input as well.
Had a quick look on Autotrader, this looks nice. And has pretty much everything on the list. Will wipe the floor performance wise with anything on your list and are actually not that bad on fuel compared to a 2.0 TDI.

Hey Karl, i totally understand your point, the only bit i really want on the seats is the leather, S line makes them lovely and chunky, but your right electric isnt a neccessity.

Im having a hard time finding A5's mainly because ive convinced myself I need satnav, I KNOW that my phone can provide a better navigation system than any in car one, that one you linked doesn't have satnav, and so wouldn't have shown up in my searches, ha. I just keep thinking if it has a screen like it does- no satnav would be a bit of a bummer!

Nonetheless, its a lovely car and i shall consider it. Thanks!

You can buy a fairly good sat nav for around £100 these days, and as you say you have one on your phone. Just ask yourself how much it's going to cost to get the lastest mapping on the 4 year old car you are buying . And how much it will cost to keep it upto date.
I think some of the early sat nav systems on the B8 A4 and A5 didn't even support 7 digit postcodes.
If I was you I wouldn't get stuck on what gadgets a car does and doesn't have, to me it's more about the driving dynamics and experience and a 3.0 V6 TDI is a lot nicer to drive than a 2.0 TDI :)

I definitely understand what your saying. The insurance is certainly more on the 3.0, but nothing I cant manage. I never realised the 0-60 either, christ! :)

With a remap they go to around 300bhp and 0-60 on mine is around 5.0 seconds, have a look at my build thread. Thats what I meant about driving dynamics.
