Epc light came on help reqd

This morning was very cold .5 degrees sitting ticking over clearing the screen ok pulled out up my road. Bing eco light car felt sluggish and heavy to drive thought it was due to the cold as it's my first winter with her. Got all the way to work 40 mins later still the same. Switched it off started back up epc light still on. Gave it a boot and it went. Any ideas
 
Anyone in north London or Harlow with a vcds to give my ecu a look

Buy your own off ebay, they're invaluable and the cheapy £10 ones do the job just fine on these older B5 models.
 
Will look tonight does it come with software or a download address
 
rosstech do a free version of their software and the leads usually come with this.

Its limited in functionality, but will do enough to read off the fault codes etc.
 
Where on rosstech do I download from as there are the two pages to choose from 3rd party or other one
 
Ok thank you still new to this scanning cars can do the manual stuff
