REMAP WITHOUT DPF DELETE?

Hello, i have an A3 170TDI quattro and have been looking into getting it remapped for some time but is it worth me getting the DPF removed also? i have been quoted £279 for the remap or £479 for the remap and DPF delete.

i do a fair amount of motor way driving so don't imagine ill have any problems in the future with the DPF (touch wood)

Also does this sound like a fair price for the remaps?

Regarding cost, it depends on if that's on a rolling road and tunned individually to your car or just a generic?

I'm currently looking at getting my 170 remapped all garages strongly advise gutting the dpf due to issues after remaps.

I've been quoted £580 for dpf removal and rolling road custom re map as a comparison.
 
thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated, the price was for a rolling road print out before and after but a generic remap i believe.
 
Tbh that doesn't seem such good value. A remap unique to your car would be my suggestion.
 
hi where are you based. we are in the North East and can offer our services. if it was me personally id be getting the DPF delete too. As long as its done right. We have some great deals on at the moment too. Whats the Engine code or year as our Remaps start at £170 and DPF removal and Remap package from £320. that with the 15% discount Audi-sport members can receive
