Potential S3 Owner

Hello guys,

I am new to this forum, I have joined as it is time to get rid of my first car and get something a little better. I am really into the audi S3 (8L chassis).

The only thing which is putting me off at the moment is the insurance quotes, cheapest i found is just under 2k.

I am 21 years old, have 3 years driving experience (as named driver).

Could someone kindly recommend me insurance companies which offer affordable quotes as well as a good service.

Oh and i forgot to mention if I dont find an affordable quote for an S3 i will probably look for a 1.9 tdi A3, hopefully an S3 replica.

Hi Moh, good luck with the insurance hunt. An S3 would be a lot of car but good fun, also good fun would be the diesel as your second choice. I had four years of fun out of my 140, so if you get the right one with no gremlins lurking you'll be just as happy.

Regards insurance, do all the comparison websites ie gocompare etc, find your cheapest quote & then use one of the cashback site's, quidco or topcashback, to see if you can reduce it further

9 times out of 10 works for me buddy

Chris Knott and Adrian Flux are real experts in the field of performance/modified cars, get a quote from one. then play them off against each other, I do it every year, this year I got my renewal cut by £170, best of luck.
