Hi guys, I had an A3 a few months ago, it was a 2.0 TDI, was a good car, some pictures in my history if you care, but anyway I was working locally, and I get bored of cars quite easy sometimes, so i got rid of it for an import MX5;

its nice too ha but now im travelling 60 miles a day to work, which isnt massively far but i believe Audis ecobus edition would be a better fit for me, only problem is im struggling to find one that isnt just so basic! Did they not ever put leathers, rnse, flatbottom, etc all the fancy stuff, in this edition of the car?

Thanks, any suggestions are welcome :)

the black edition would be what you are after, but there are no 1.9 tdi black editions, nor 1.6 tdi black editions.

Ah, not the answer i particularly wanted to hear, lol. But a definitive one nonetheless so cheers!

Hi I bought a 3 door 1.9Tdie 2009 with 37,000 miles it is a sport model with, LEDs, Xenon adaptive lights the type that move when you steer, I have fitted Sat nav and cruise since buying it. It drives great and has enough power for my needs and with 600 miles to a tank of diesel its a great compromise.

Thats awesome, do you have a rough indication on what youve spent? No need to tell me exactly but just helps!

I bought a 59 plate 1.9tdie sport with 37k about 15months ago for £10k. I originally had an 04 plate 2.0tdi SE which was fully loaded but becoming unusually unreliable. The 1.9tdie is great, though... Mine has decent kit (BOSE, etc) but no cruise which I miss. It is just powerful enough but not under powered, looks great, drives well, really really comfy and is ace on MPG.

Find a well priced, low mileage one and just begin pimping it...

Hi The 2013 Sat nav and New cruise were £750 fitted, The lights were a factory option costing £2500 lol, what surprised me is the cruise which maintains speed after changing gear.

I recently sold mine, but came across this one on Autotrader just yesterday: looks like a very tidy motor and a good place to make a start as it has climate control, multi-function steering wheel and arm-rest! Mine has cruise control, rear-parking sensors and iPod control so it's very much swings and roundabouts.

As you say really, i need to find one thats closest to what i want, and budget for modifications.

The only thing which is near-enough impossible to get installed is the digital climate control: the rest of it is very much doable. Good luck with your search!

Selling mine on the classified section, its the 2.0tdi sline-tax is only 30 per year and it achieves approx. 50-60 mpg.
