Hi all.Could someone please advise me as to how to remove the spray nozzle that sits directly on top of the wiper arm nut...(not the plastic cover)..:) Many Thanks Paul

iirc it is a one piece push fit into the wiper arm,so a gentle lift with a flat bladed screwdriver should pop it out.
give it a blow thru with an airline while its out as they have a habit of blocking.

Cheers Pumpaction. Thanks for the quick reply, will try and remove it tomorrow...:thumbs up:

Yeah remove the plastic cover, this pops of with some little effort from the sides, then pop the jet nozzle plastic piece of, its literally pushed on the wiper motor nipple as such.

Thank you very much NHN will be doing it tomorrow. The reason I have to get it off is that the wiper arm is quite floppy, was wondering if I could try and stiffen it up in work.If this fails to work how much will a new replacement cost?

You mean it moves side to side on the screen, this could be the motor fixings or indeed the nut loose on the wiper blade/motor head.

Yes the motor fixings do move in the rubber seal but the actual wiper arm is quite flimsy on the part which bends up to replace the blade..:readit: so will be looking to see if I could fix it or just buy a replacement?

Yeah, mine is the same. Searches through the forum suggests a new motor, as due to wear it becomes 'floppy' and can damage the paintwork.

It's replacement time for mine - just waiting for the puller I ordered (Thanks NHN for the link) to arrive.

Yep deffo worth getting the puller.Better than forking out for a new rear window:faint: Took mine off today and found that the elbow part of the wiper was badly worn,so will be ordering a new one from the stealers tomorrow, not sure how much it will cost? Hopefully this will sort it out if not will look into getting a new motor :ambivalence:
