Uh..oh... Flashing glow plug light and limp mode :(

There is a vacuum actuator on the inlet manifold which is only about £10
They have a diaphragm inside which splits.
 
Hi just a bit of info I had flashing glow plug light and engine management light on also ,removed engine cover squeezed all the electrical connectors on top of the engine and as I was squeezing one on the left side I heard a noise then checked and all faults were gone so guess it was just a poor connection !
Drove the car 90 miles no issues so I'm gona monitor it then if it happens again will try some contact spray in them
Hope this helps as I was thinking the worse and it cost me an hour of trawling the net so many thanks to who ever put me on the right path.
Dread to think what audi would of charged for such a minor fault.
