Hi guys, looking for some nice stainless or black exhaust tips to go on my standard system for a few months, what can you recommend ?
i have the special ed blacks at present but really fancy a set of something of a larger diameter but not sure whats out there and whats the quality like.
prefer rounds again but dual outlets would be nice but i suspect a new valance would be needed to accomadate the larger width etc.
any suggestions on what to look out for and a decent source .

many thanks
rob

Personally I prefer the single pipes on ea side. And yes you would need a valance the s4 valance to be exact if you want dual or oval exits.

And I think 4inch tail pipes fills the gaps nicely. Even thou power flow aren't highly rated in this country sadly I still swear by them in many ways.

Having said that people had bad experiences with there mufflers/exhaust boxes. Which I dont personally. But that said they sell some really nice tail pipes.

But again its down to preference. http://www.powerflowexhausts.co.uk/products/tail-pipes/

Depending on if you like chrome or powercoat or flame tips. I think the RW or the RAW tips are quite nice.

Rob I currently have the chrome powerflow tips from my old system before I put the S6 system on for sale if you need some for a few months. They are the ones that are on my picture threads that you have been looking at. Think they are only three inch though.

ive got a feeling the ones ive ordered are 3.75" - i kinda want a little smaller but will probably choose on the day between 4" and 3.75" :D

i'd have to hunt the quote out, but im getting my single exit twintip replaced with dual exit single tip for (i think) £320...valance is near-as-dammit £50 from audi, then £60 to paint...so looking at £430 total :)

**** that

pity your nit in Sheffield I could have got it fitted for you for less that half that

have you got the new hanger from audi for the other box ?

i didnt think £320 was too bad. Im EXTREMELY picky when it comes to exhaust noise/sound and having had PF in the past, they're a decent bunch of guys who'll stop at nothing till you're happy :)

and not sure bout the hanger!

this would have been PF stuff fitted perfect

but if your happy with the costs that's all that counts.

was just been a good member trying to save other mambers £££ is it petrol or derv ?

if derv I wouldn't even bother with the boxes they sound nice without.

the hanger is the proper audi one its better to have than just weld a bar to the car to hold the other box in place around £15 from audi for the hanger that includes the rubber and bolt to fit

Here's my special edition with 3.5 inch each side
