Evening all. I have an Audi A4 170 60 plate. Just got this map and I'm having a play about. Impressed with the power but when using cruise at say 60 (poxy speed cameras) it's not exactly smooth. It seems to drive like my dad, on and off the throttle! What does map 1,2 and 3 do? Which is most aggressive and smoothest? I like the power but also like the smoothness.

Ideas?
 
It should come with graphs 4 graphs or 3 have a look at the power curves should give you am idea of the most powerful, medium so on
 
I have a Dtuk box on my car and have found the company very helpful with any customer queries, technical or otherwise. I should pick up the 'phone if I were you.
 
What car you got, and what map setting do you use? My fav is map 3 I think. Smoothest but not the most powerful of them all. Must be getting old!!
 
I tried 3plus1. But my engine hits a wall at 4000rpm. Nearly shat myself the first time it happened! A4 tdi 170 with no oil stick engine.

I really do recommend either 'phoning Andrew at Dtuk, or use the forum to contact him. He is usually prompt in replying and helping. It certainly sounds as if you do have a problem as I've tried various changes in the settings without any of the symptoms you describe.
 
Second giving them a call they will sort you out ... also remember that not everyone will have the same maps in the same position, your map 3 could be someone else's map 2 it just depends on how and what map has been loaded to each position.

I have just change to the new CDR-T + box and is a very nice improvement over my older version and switching maps is a breeze :)
 
Has anyone had any clutch slip issues ?

I have a 143bhp avant with dtuk box on and it just started to slip under load car had a new clutch any flywheel at 25k miles and is currently on 59.5k, think I have had the box on for about 2k miles.

I have done 33,000 with mine without any issues.
