K04 Ball Bearing Cartridge

You know me.. of course I have..

High speed ball bearings are needed. Bearing housings needs machine out to accept large cartridge .. very limited on space as journal is 7 mm and thus outside is around 19mm. I have an early version I made. Which hasn't been run as too scared! Spins well though.. I'll dig it out

I still use the thrust bearing.. larger gt turbo's have big cartridges which make up for the thrust play. These are small so I kept it. You just have to make sure it's pressed in correctly so the thrust bearing still works by the oil pressure exerting the opposing force and taking the stress on the ball bearings , which I'm sure would fail with out them... I designed the ball bearing as well so there is still a journal bearing in between the 2 ball bearing units. BUT it's all written words as like I say it's not run in a car yet ..

If your too scared to test the full turbo with bearing cartridge on one of your cars dan.... Test it on mine if you like
