S3 Rattle/tingging under load

Hi I've been getting a rattle/tingging under acceleration as its coming on to boost. If I push the clutch pedel down and free Rev it dosnt do it.
The strange thing is when I went on holiday to Somerset in August it was doing it for about 40-50 miles. But after being on the motorway for a few hours it stopped. Now the noise has come back anyone else had or heard of anything like this?
Could this be the flywheel or turbo on there way out?
 
Can you replicate the noise just blipping the throttle whilst idling?

No only when in gear 1st-6th and from about 20%-100% throttle.
 
Check my threads about loose propshaft bolts.. good easy place to start. Get a good torch and get underneath and down the back of the engine. Hope this helps.
 
Tuffty, what does it mean if you can replicate it when blipping the accelerator? also mine is rubbling like crazy through gear knob when driving. sorry for the thread hijack.
 
I know you have S3 & I have A3 but Going on what you said, sounds like what mine was doing, Dual mass flywheel ratling, untill i replaced (in my project thread) been beautiful with no noise ever since
