Having lifted the back seat bases too drop the seats I have noticed that on the back edge of the seat bases are holes with plastic sleeves. Does anyone know what these are for, they seem to be the same size as the headrest fixings.

my golf had these for storing headrests while seats are folded, otherwise they hit the roof while pushing seat forward, maybe same?
i had thought the same to be honest but having never had a VAG car before and it not saying anything in the manual I didn't want to look daft trying it but I shall try it now. Thanks for the suggestion.
