I have an engine block that I stripped down yesterday ready to be bored out for stroker build and was wondering the best way to clean it up for painting. Is it alright to just jet wash it or is there a better way?

We get ours hot tanked by the machine shop. Only costs around 40 iirc. Much more economical than chemicals and time taken by hand
