Hi guys,
Can anyone help with this fault found after running vcds?
I coded in the dis to show sat nav directions 2 days ago and all was fine with no fault codes afterwards, checked again this morning & it's showing this fault now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thats the information that comes up for the fault. Not that it helps much.

18020/P1612/005650 - Engine Control Module Incorrectly Coded
Possible Symptoms

• Driveability Issues
• Emissions worse
• Other Fault Codes stored

Possible Causes

• Engine Control Unit (ECU) incorrectly coded

Possible Solutions

• Check Engine Control Unit (ECU) coding

That's the info i came up with matey, not too up with this coding malarky just yet so thought i'd ask on here
Also wondered if it had anything to do with being remapped as i've read this could be an issue elsewhere, it never showed up before now which is baffling me.

Change the coding you changed recently to orig and clear everything and see if it comes back after - scan.

I've done that this morning and guess what? It cleared the fault!

Also noticed that it won't let me enter the setting for 47 navigation or 56 radio and is now showing an intermittent fault on the steering wheel.
Would it be anything to do with the k-line wire being incorrect? The more i read up on the problems the more i confuse myself
