I'm trying to find a way of contacting United Motorsport. I know they're mostly in the US but there must be a dealer here surely?

I'm massively interested in their engine software and spark cut tune for the 3.2 (R32, A3 3.2 V6 etc) but having scoured the web can only find details about them in the US market.

Has anyone over here developed the same sort of map or has anyway of reaching UM in the UK?

The Phirm in Hampshire are the UK's UM Dealers. I've spoke to them and they were supposed to call me back regarding UM engine/dsg map but never did hear from them.

0845 450 5760 is there number if you want to give them a try?

ive dropped them an email so we will wait and see if they get back to me.
I'm not bothered about engine map on this car, i just can't see it being much better however I really want to sharpen up the gear changes on the dsg, i think it feels a bit soggy as standard.

They replied to me about UM software, however said that I need to provide them with my edu ID before they can get a price from UM because every application is custom.

They also told me that the engine remap is needed aswell as deg map for spark cut to work.

How do i find my ecu ID without using vagcom etc?

anyone know where to find the ecu ID? its been a while since any activity on this thread, does anyone know if this spark cut map will suit the a3 and cost involved?

Rebooting this thread... has anyone had this remap done yet via Phirm ? Keen to know how it is ? (I gather they can supply the United Motorsports maps which include the 'spark cut' feature)

Any info appreciated.
