Induction kits what one to get

Personal think that it looks cheap and nasty out of all the ones I have seen
But everybody is different

vwr's r600 enclosed intake should be out shortly.

It expect it may work well but god its fugly isn't it!!! Where's the carbon?

I believe their trying keep it oem as possible and cost down

My Intake of choice is this one and will be delivered on Monday!!!!
APR UK have a few in stock now if your quick.....

How easy was it to fit? I'm planning on buying one from a member on here for £350. Do I need to buy anything else?

I think the APR one looks fabulous. However why any one would fit a less efficient air cleaner just for looks is still beyond me.

The R600 gives quite a good OE look:

Looks good! I see the ECU anti-tamper cage is missing too! Unless its a S-tronic which don't seem to have them

Im a fanny so that 'R' logo would torture my soul.

Does APR or any other intake system work fine with stock software? And are there any benefits to changing the intake system only?

Performance...

I've yet to see it proven, I'm open minded......................

But if you have any engine issues you might lose your warranty. You would definitely if I ran the dealership.!

Volks Auto currently doing the R600 filter box for £320 delivered.
Bargain :)

anyone got Forge motorsport CF intake ?
Salik...apparently they did a limited production run on this to test it out.
I currently have the APR carbonio one which I like, but I'm going to change it for the Forge one as they are going to bring it into production.
I was tempted to change to the VWR600 one as that has the highest rating of all the production intakes (up to 600bhp)....but will wait for the Forge one now.

Actually i was stuck between vwr600 n APR carbonio few months bak but this forge intake tempted me. Now m waiting for official launch n the actual cost, i prefer enclosed or box type intake especially where i live is hot/humid climate. I got Afe drop-in filter for now just waiting for forge intake reviews/dyno graph

I know it won't be to everyone's taste, personally don't mind the open cone look.
Will be getting a heat shield made at some point in the future but finding out where to attach it is the issue.

Looks slightly neater now as the aluminium pipe has been shortened a bit more to tuck the filter further back
it looks fine , better hose than oe , good filter should be just as effective as the other open filters

I have the vwr600 intake, fits perfects with almost oe looks , better cold air input that the apr and larger filter area, also I can pop of the top and run it open if I fancy a sound increase

That forge intake looks good but look at the gap it leaves , I think they could have fitted a bigger filter easy on that
