ive researched this as my ring is a bit scratched from the previous owner- i dont think anyone has found a solution. It is two parts as the airbag cover splits in two once deployed. I know some guys have wrapped it in vinyl- i wonder if plastx or something like that would remove the scratches and make it more a matte finish
 
I've recently changed the 2din cage....with a new one...and i was wondering if i can change that oval ring 2 :( also mine it's scratched from the previous owner....
