Forget about injectors, read that thread.

Great write up mate! I've done the basic stage 1 mods - been remapped, dump valve, cat back etc. I was gonna go for a silicone TIP and s2k filter next as i currently just have a K&N panel filter.

Do you know any threads that could elabourate on the n249 by pass as i dont really know much about it at all tbh! New to vag engines and my first turbo engine lol :)

I still think an intercooler, injectors and a remap will be a good road to go down from the stage im at!

thanks again for the info bud, im a vag newby haha!

You won't need injectors or a 4bar fpr for that matter with a k03s...

Any reccomendations on what route to go down to get a bit more power? anywhere over 230 and i'd be happy!

i love quotes like this!!
you'll be wanting more power in weeks!!!

hahaha yea your right there lol just looking for some tips and such, so far it looks like injectors would be a waste of time! the post 16klappe shared is really helpfull

Bigger turbo required dude... at that point the world is your oyster etc

You just need to work out your power goals and budget to do the work... there are a fair few options and a few ways to get there...

Fit an eBay toyosports generic FMIC, a quality high flow turbo intake pipe (read Forge or SFS) a 3" downpipe and decat, make sure there aren't any leaks and you'll be good for 230bhp in the right places.

I wouldn't bothered though, 225 bhp, lots of torque and reliability is better.

Don't forget the brakes and suspension.

That thread will give you everything you need to max out a K03s.

thanks for the info bud :) got that thread saved in my bookmarks be reading through it for a while lol seen a toyosports intercooler i really like that someone has fitted on here i think im gonna go for after i get a decent TIP, any idea where i can pick up the MAP sensor pipe? and what intercooler pipes would you recommend?

thats the one i was looking at

I would recommend the pipes that come with the kit.

Forge for the TIP, Forge for the MAP pipe.

I have spotted this on eBay which has everything with it. These kits weren't ready to go back in my day :(

Load of FMIC info in the FAQs... map sensor tube can be got from Forge although there maybe some alternatives on eBay

Most of the pipework supplied with these kits are questionable at best fitment wise... normally easier to work out what you need and make it up from a combo of silicon and alloy bends that can be bought cheaply from ASH (advertise on eBay)
