Hi all, Have left the B7 forum to now join up with you all on the B8 forum.

Just recently changed from saloon B7 2.0TFSi to Avant B8 2.0TFSi.
Bought my B8 off another forum member too known as AJM.

First question I have is regarding the colour, is this Misano Red?

Nice welcome on-board, you'll enjoy all the new toys...

What's the spec.

Being and new b7 owner I'm really interested to hear your thoughts on the b8 as I will no doubt get one in a year or two and an avant next time too.

Thanks V6 Quatt - it has the following spec (whether they are standard or options I don't know):

2.0 TFSi (211) Quattro, 7 Speed Auto Multitronic, full leather, MMI system (thinks that what you call it), parking sensors all round, electric boot release, tinted rear windows, Stage 1 Revo map, BMC panel filter, 92k miles with Oil Consumption issue fixed by Audi just a few months ago.

I am loving the car so far, the auto box is so smooth and kick down is amazing when you give it the beans.
MPG is pants around town, currently averaging 22 but have seen 38 on a 250 mile motorway trip.

Judderman - its such a step up in quality and electronics from the B7 I had.
Before I got this B8 I was very happy with my B7 and felt it had a nice spec, but from the moment I got in the B8, it just made the B7 seem so outdated, even though there is only 4 years age difference between my B7 and this one.

I have a Misano red avant mate and it's hard to tell with the pics.Easier to see when the sun is out as it glows a Warmer orange tint.
It will tell you in the service book I thought with all the other option codes? Paint code LZ3M is Misano
Nice motor btw and welcome to the B8 section

Very nice looking motor mate. Sure I will be making the same move in a couple of years. I know what you mean about the differences though, mate has a b8 and it feels light years ahead of my b7 avant even though there's only 2 years!!

enjoy

Thanks for that Dan. I've just gone from an 8l to a b7 so it already feels like a step forward. I've only just started liking the b8s I think red is probably the only colour they look good in, so good choice :)

Sounds great Quattro too supberb spec...will take you a while to get use to all the toys....lol

Yes deffo a step up until I got my B8 didn't realise how dated the B7 has become. Still a nice car but no where as updated as the B8 is complete overhaul enjoy

I completely agree Judderman, red seems to turn so many heads I have noticed too.
