Hi guys..
Basically im not getting any vaccum from the inlet mani connection to dv... So im thinkn of placing a T piece on the fpr vaccum pipe to the dv? Is this. A good idea?
I have read people using the fpr pipe for boost gauges? So should be ok?

And i dont know why my outlet on mani to dv is blocked.. Tried everythn to unblock it but no lick...

As a last resort I guess. But preferred method is to leave fpr one separate because it's vital to fueling. You have an n249 fitted to the top of the engine under the cover?

What makes you think you have no vacuum? as Mark said... is your N249 plumbed in or is it bypassed?

There are two small outlets under the inlet mani above the alternator... one will go to the FPR, one to the N249 (assuming its plumbed in)...

<tuffty/>

Ok guys... I have no vaccum to fpr and dv... Donr know how long but ive had the car for 2 years almost and when i went to unplug the fpr pipe i had no vaccum to it?

How can this be? Both outlets under inlet mani not pushing out vaccum?

And how is the fueling workn without vaccum to fpr?

How do you know there is no vacuum? Was the engine running when you unplugged the fpr? You will only notice a vacuum when the car is running and the turbo isn't spooling. I would not unplug your fpr though..

I still don't understand how you're convinced there is no vacuum.

Yes jenno007... Car was running.. No vacuum at all! Even im suprised at that..

Only guess is to try another mani i have lying around see if the ports on that are not blocked... Cant be amything else...

Im jus guessn its been like this since i bought it.. The guy i bought it off must av known bout this reason he sold it... Dont know but will change manifold on monday let u guys know if its worked.

Earlier you said "pushing out vacuum", just to be sure we're on the same page a vacuum should be sucking air into it. So if you put your finger on the hole it should be trying to suck your finger through it.

At idle the vacuum won't be very strong. Maybe light a match and blow it out and then place it near the hole on the inlet manifold and see if the smoke is getting sucked through?

Yh sorry sucking Air in... Nothing at all... Even connected a t piece on the pipe from fpr to inlet to connect my dv pipe n it jus flutters when coming off boost...
So basically both ports from under mani are blocked :/ proper weird... U recon any manifolds wer made with these ports bkocked?

Lickily mate had another agu mani lying around.. So will make sure ports on those are open n wack that mani on..

None would have been made with the ports intentionally blocked. Hopefully if you take your inlet manifold off you'll be able to clear whatever is blocking them..

unless you've managed to fit a one way valve on the FPR outlet then if there is no vacuum there will be no boost to your FPR either - if its blocked it blocked isn't it (not preferentially blocked) - and if there is no boost on your FPR then I think you would have noticed it (plus you car would be ******)

same goes for the DV - I reckon it would struggle to hold the boost

Does the car idle OK?

third time lucky - how do you categorically know that there is no vacuum - have you put a gauge on it?

Hi alex, the car idles fine.. Drivs fine too.. As for the dv it just flutters through cone filter.

I took the fpr hose off the inlet when car was running and there was no vacuum at all? I even ran the dv pipe to it and still no vacuum to dv...

Because normally u can feel te suction either if it is minimal, you can feel vacuum but not on my both outlets so theres DEFO no vacuum at all :/

Try hook up a boost gauge and see if the hole is completely blocked or if some air is flowing through?

Your car more likely is leaking the vacuum away via leaks in the pcv system. Get a smoke test or pressure test done. You'll know then without removing stuff. If somehow they are blocked you will have the first car ever with that exact fault

Loll exactly broken byzan... Its a weird one!!... The pipe that comes out from right side on inlet has vacuum so defo ports blocked... Illl check everythn tomorw morning befre tkn it apart...

Like Broken Byzan said it is more likely to be a leak somewhere on the system than both outlets being blocked imo. Get it smoke tested if you cant find any splits just to be sure.

Ok guys after tryn to clear both outlets from mani.... Using a safety pin it jus would not clear when poking it in the outlet.. Its defo a closed outlet.. Both are on inlet...

So this is what ive done for now to get vacuum to dv and fpr.. I know its not safe but its a temp job...

What u think? Is it safe and ok to run? It doesnt flutter now and have vacuum going to fpr...

I jus used a t piece connectors from vacuum pipe from throttle body to fpr.. Then another t piece from fpr to dv..
